Singapore envoy to visit Romonia next month

Singapore's ambassador Anil Kumar Nayar, who is based in Brussels, has been appointed as a special envoy to Romania, and will visit the country next month with lawyers in order to help the local officials against the former diplomat Silviu Ionescu. I think that Mr. Ionescu is irresponsible and does not respect Singapore's laws. This is because he escaped from Singapore and did not come back after hitting 3 pedastrians in Dec 15. I think he should be prosecuted as soon as he comes back to Singapore.

Tiny Himalayan kingdom tackles a new summit

Even though hosting seven foreign dignitaries in Singapore is a small event, a country seemingly unknown like Bhutan treats this as a very big event. This is because the country has never hosted any of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) leadership meetings in the regional bloc's 25-year history. Thus, they want to make a good impression to the foreign dignitaries. I think that doing this high-scale event can make the country get more exposure to the world. As Bhutan has been increasing rapidly for the past two years, this event can surely increase the rate of this country further improving its economy.
